Update Create Configuration Files

Product Description

UCCF™ is an application for updating FastNET™ run time configuration files with the file names of the hot list files that need to be downloaded to eft/pos terminals. 

 

The utility can also process log files and create files in a format to be imported to the FastTERM™ Terminal Parameters Management System database application. This functionality is used for importing communication traffic data either from the acquirer’s Transaction Processing System or from another Terminal Management System that the acquirer might use. This import procedure is materialized for having unified reporting on the communication traffic generated from the terminal fleet and for maintaining unified historical data in one system only, thus the FastTERM™ system.  

Applications

While this functionality is embedded in the FastTERM™ Terminal Parameters Management System application, Hot List Management module and in the FastLIST™ Hot List Management System application, the application is used for creating the hot list versions and updating the run time configuration files of the communication engine when the customer has a separate legacy database application for managing and creating the actual full and partial hot list files. 

 
 
 
 

DBMS™

Data Backup and Mirroring System

Product Description

DBMS™ is an application designed for mirroring files over a LAN or WAN in real time. The application uses advanced compression/decompression algorithms for file transfers.

 

DBMS™ is used for mirroring - transferring files between two different computer nodes over a LAN or two different physical locations over a LAN or WAN, like the production and the disaster recovery site, in order for the data files at the different computer nodes or physical locations to be synchronized.

DBMS™ can also be used for backup purposes by means of copying directory trees from one hard disk to another over a LAN or WAN. The application can simultaneously mirror and backup - copy files with the mirroring function having a higher priority. 

 

A light version of the application with the name Copy Backup Data Files –CBDF™ has been developed for use when the volume of data files is relatively small.

Applications

DBMS™ is used for transferring critical files like run-time configuration files, log files and data files between computer nodes of the FastNET™ Terminal Management System.
