Design and development of
data acquisition and data
analysis system. The system is used for controlling experiments on seismic platform,
acquire experiment data and analyze them in
real time. The system uses various sensors connected to a seismic platform and a
number of data acquisition devices that are capable of capturing data in
real time. The users create and store experiment scenarios using the system
software application and then when an experiment is executed the system
acquires the experiment data and analyzes them using a number of seismic
data analysis algorithms. Finally the experiment data and the analysis
result data are stored in files for further analysis.
The system was
developed for National Technical University of Athens – NTUA, materials
seismic strength laboratory.

Design
and development of a system for performing experiments and measurement of transient
phenomena over a full functional miniaturized model of an Electric Power
Generation Plant and Electric Power Distribution System. The system was
developed for the National Technical University of Athens - NTUA, Electric Power
Systems laboratory. TMS is a powerful software system that has been
developed for measuring high-speed phenomena such as transients and for
real time data acquisition and control. TMS can operate in any industrial
or laboratory environment executed at Intel based PCs or VME bus
platforms. The software has been developed with modular architecture in
order to be configurable for meeting different functional specifications
of a variety of Data Acquisition, Automated Measurement, Telemetry, Local
and Remote Control applications.
The
system operates, in NTUA, under the title "EMP R 2.00".
